Fancy Lanier-Duncan is a Minneapolis-based author, storyteller, musician, and community builder whose work centers imagination, belonging, emotional courage, and creative possibility. She is the founder of Dream in Full Color Press and the author of the picture book The Super-Special-Spectacular Fort, an imaginative outdoor adventure that weaves social-emotional learning into play, sensory experience, and problem-solving. Her broader body of work spans iLLism, The Legacy Building, Soul of the Southside, and Reading Roots, each exploring in its own way what becomes possible when people have space to imagine, express themselves, and belong.
